The importance of travel.

Emo and Mary Stopped to take in the beautiful scenery as well as get the heart rate down:)

IWhat a wonderful week full of beauty, bikes, laughter, and joy.  I didn't have many expectations of what this trip may be like, but I can tell you I was surprised by the absolute beauty of the country Chile.

I didn't know it was so hilly, so I spent a bit more time in the van with my bike in the trailer than I had planned, but I still got to see the countryside.

Fun fact: Chile has more than 2,000 volcanoes.

I didn't know how amazing the food would be. Sadly, Coke, Pepsi, and Lays potato chips seem to have flags in every small-town restaurant.

The people are very kind and patient with our broken Spanish and crazy hand movements when trying to find words.

What I love most about traveling is learning about the country and its people and how we all basically want the same thing, even though we feel like we are a million miles apart.
