“Change. But start slowly because direction is more important than speed.”
— Attributed to Paulo Coelho, author of The Alchemist

Here we go!!

Christmas is over, and the new year is coming fast.

So what is on the “I'm going to do this this year!” list?

I saw this quote and felt it was appropriate for the new year.

We go full speed ahead, move into our new goals and lists, and then get burned out by February. Then, we completely forget our goals and why we are no longer doing what we want to change or do.

So, maybe this year, you take the week to decide what you want to change but know you can do it slowly. Do it with intention and joy. Could you check in at the end of each week to see if you are still enjoying this new change?

I love to try new things and enjoy changing things up, but I also quickly change my mind if this latest adventure is not enjoyable and try out something else.

It's like reading a book: Stop if you can't get into it. There are thousands more waiting for you.

Whatever your new year's intention, change, or new habit, do it with fun. If you're not having fun, there are thousands more fun things to do and try.

Being mindful that direction is more important than speed.

Wishing you an abundant 2025 filled with fun and new adventures.
