8 ingredients to your movement cake
We made it past the holidays, and then we jumped right into the most chocolaty holiday of them all: Valentine's Day! If your January movement plans didn’t go as planned, hopefully, this can jumpstart your February movement!
Chocolate Movement Cake!
Ingredients:
2 Cups of mobility
2 Cups of strength
2 Cups of heart health
1 Cup of connection
½ Cup of grace
½ Cup of joy
¼ Cup of Yes, I can!
Sprinkle of confidence, community, and laughter
Directions:
Put 2 cups of mobility into your bowl (your hips) and stir them all the ways they are meant to move: internally, externally, and right down the center.
Add the 2 cups of strength like the hundred, roll-up, weights, and downdog.
Add 2 cups of jump board and meditation for heart health.
Next, add the cup of connection to your mind/body with yoga and pilates.
Mix all the above ingredients, then add grace, joy, and Yes! I can! Remind yourself that movement heals.
Pour the ingredients into a fun baking pan of your choice and move in 360 degrees for 1 hour.
Let your cake rest, and when cooled, add sprinkles of confidence, community, and laughter, and know you are where you are meant to be.
