How I’m entering 60 with a boot and a croc

My journey toward sixty.

Two months ago, I realized I was six months away from turning 60.

I decided to begin a plan to enter my 60th year with sizzle and sparkle and be happy to enter this next decade instead of being frustrated and angry that I’m getting older.

So, with sizzle and sparkle, I decided to reach out to a functional medicine doctor and get a deep dive into my blood to see my body's health.  I definitely need a few tweaks.

I then went to get my every four-month teeth cleaning (there was too much plaque). I call it Irish teeth. I found out that I have three cracked teeth and need three crowns.

I’m doing my best to sparkle every three weeks that I get my teeth fixed!

I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis on my right foot for a while and finally decided to get that looked at. I walked out of the Orthopedic’s office with a boot on my left foot, which has a stress fracture, and a soft arch support on my right for my PF!

A boot and a croc-the croc is the perfect height:)

Oh boy, is it hard to sizzle and sparkle with a boot on one foot and a croc on the other!

My Apple watch broke probably at the perfect time. Not seeing my rings close could have been a big stressor.

So… I move forward toward the big day and year.

My teeth will be fixed, and my feet will heal. I will keep marching on—the gift of resilience.

I took action by fixing my broken parts, which will help me enter 60 with renewed strength.

I will remind myself always to sizzle and sparkle no matter the pain and joy of getting older.

Are you are entering a new year or decade in your life? How are you looking forward to this? I hope you can sparkle with me.
