What simple summer joys are you finding?

How is your summer so far?

What daily joys are you finding?

We spend months planning our weekend trips, weddings, and big summer vacations, but how are you enjoying the simple everyday joys of your summer so far?

My favorite summer joys so far have been

-going to my mom's cottage and enjoying the view and her stories

-I see my grandson each week(hopefully) and watch him grow.

-having my coffee on my back patio

-sitting in my pool during the very hot days

-riding my bike outside with my husband

-having my kids bop in and out of the house

-sitting outside gathering with friends

-teaching yoga and pilates by the pool and listening to the birds

-taking class with my pilates coach

-hanging out on my friend's boat

-walking in the neighborhood on a quiet morning

-watching fireworks at my moms

-watching the Olympics and the extraordinary athletes!

Sometimes, the simple everyday joys get lost in the shuffle of our more significant, busier lives.

Take a few moment to think about or write about the simple joys you found in your day today.
