Are you ready to Retreat?
I'm writing from retreat weekend.
I was blessed to spend time with old friends and new friends. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives and how we may have passed each other in a store or restaurant and never knew that one day we shall meet.
A reminder to be nice to all you encounter as you may be with them in person one day:)
I love this weekend as I get to pull out all my yoga bags of tricks and treats. We spent time with not just doing asana, but using tuning forks, singing bowls, yoga mudras. For me I love that I don't have to worry if class ends early or late. We are able to go with the flow of the day.
We were on ish time. 10ish, 11ish.
We could also take time to just be in our yoga and sit with our thoughts in the present moment as opposed to what we have to get done on our to do list.
We were able to spend time together breaking bread and talking.
That is why it is so healthy to RETREAT. What ever that looks like to you. Maybe it's an hour, a day or hopefully some day coming on retreat with me for a weekend. Where you can retreat from daily life and take special time and moments for you to refill your cup.
If you are pondering the Joshua Tree Retreat. The deadline is coming up. If you have people asking what you want for Christmas, maybe this retreat can be your gift.
If you can't make a weekend retreat, think about moments in your day you can find time to retreat.
